The Edinburgh International Book Festival today announces its 2023 programme which celebrates The Joy of Words and its 40 years as the world’s leading celebration of the written word. From 12 – 28 August 2023, the Festival invites the world’s greatest writers, artists and thinkers to help create positive conversations that will celebrate the world’s best new fiction, spoken word and non-fiction.

The Reeling, Scotland’s newest traditional music festival, enjoyed a resounding success this weekend, with around 8,000 Scottish music fans making their way to sunny Rouken Glen Park for the inaugural event.
