Hosted by Edinburgh Napier University, AGF's industry leading 2 day environmental assessor training will run on 21st & 22nd September 2023. The training focuses on the key operational issues that impact the environment and is designed to equip students with all the skills and knowledge of environmental operations and sustainability at events. The course which is Stage 1 of AGF’s Assessor Training also provides the opportunity to move to Stage 2 which focuses on the practical application of the knowledge and skills to become a fully qualified A Greener Future assessor, able to undertake environmental assessment of events, festivals, and venues worldwide. The training is also very relevant for those who want to work in event sustainability or to improve understanding, including event organisers, local authorities, suppliers, academics and researchers as well as those who are passionate about developing their skills in event sustainability.
The International Festival Forum (IFF) presented its eighth edition in 2022. Since launching in 2015, it has become the leading annual meeting place for the world’s top booking agencies and the cream of the international festival business. IFF sees the industry’s principal buyers and sellers come together for 2.5 days of networking, showcases, and conference sessions.
