Exhibition Centre Liverpool confirms new consumer events

ACC Liverpool Group has confirmed several new and returning consumer events, including several multi-year deals, to Exhibition Centre Liverpool.

The events are expected to welcome more than 262,000 visitors to the waterfront venue and generate approximately £24m in economic benefit to the region.

New virtual platform offers digital twin of exhibitions
A new platform, EXPO360, is aiming to transform the world of in-person exhibitions by offering digital twins of showfloors. EXPO360, headed up by former BBC, SKY and ITV programme maker Alan Tisch, provides a full 360-degree capture of an exhibition, with exhibitors able to promote their stands by adding rich media, interactive “hotspots” for their products and services. It has been launched following a pilot with Montgomery Group’s fabricator and installer trade event FIT Show.

The event industry’s reliance on data to help it plan for the future, increase its resilience, manage risk and justify investment decisions, is growing year on year.

The engagement and access that The Power of Events (UK) has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the new insight app to be launched on 28th Sep 2023.

By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.
